Leadersip is a class that focuses on developing students into strong and caring individuals and making our school a better place. It's just a class where you plan stuff and you just get to see it blossom from an idea. To me, leadership is a fun class which, not only allows me grow as a person, but also also allows you to grow as a leader. We are all about welcoming people and involving people who may not feel confortable at first, but really seeing them (kind of) merge together and all be one and involved. It's amazing and it's honestly one of the biggest things I look forward to.  Giving a voice to students, to show their creativity, and what they can bring to the table.  It's not about being in spotlight or emceeing a rally. It's about showing what you can bring in your creativity that can help leadership as a whole. One of my favorite moments from leadership was actually seeing the Powderpuff game come and be a complete success. I think my very favorite thing that leadership puts on every year is our annual Canned Food Drive... because of how much people come together... and it really is encouraging to keep it... because something so little makes such a difference. Definitely the rallies and also the 2nd Grade outreach program.  We go to the Kindergarteners and the 2nd Graders and we do lots of crafts, projects, we read a book and teach him a lesson based on the book... and we just get to know them and bond with them... and that's got to be my favorite. I also really do love planning rally games.  Rally games gets a little chaotic sometimes and I have a little clip for you. My favorite memory of leadership is putting up walls and having everyone dress up in their class colors... and just do their school spirit and have so much fun together... Building gingerbread houses with little kids at the elementary school. To me that was just really fun.  It made me feel like a little kid again and (I don't know) that was the first time I've ever built a gingerbread house.   I led a rally with my older brother and we love the Clash of the Classes rally... and it's so exciting to see everything come together after all the hard work and the dedication that we put into the rally. Just seeing things that I have taken part in or taking my time to do... bringing a smile on someone's face is honestly so amazing. I really like meeting and getting a chance to work with new people on various different projects. One thing that I loved about Leadership was that it's allowed me to grow as a person and get out of my comfort zone... and it's also been really fun being part of the planning and the behind-the-scenes of all the events that we have at our school.  There's so many different things for people to do in Leadership... whether it's creating posters for an event, promoting an event, leading the event, whether it's finding games for the event... It's all about doing at a team and there's not one person that has more value than another... and everyone is considered leaders whether or not you're physically leading the event... as long as you're there and you're participating that's what leadership is and that's what I love about leadership... is that there's something for everyone to do.  I love how we are all one big family... that is why we all work so well together and, when we work well together, we create the best events possible.  It's just an amazing class. where you get to know so many people and make so many friends that you just wouldn't expect to get to know and meet. So that is what Leadership is to me.
