Setting Up Parent Accounts

Creating a Canvas Parent Account
It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you first create an account on the Canvas website and then download the app using the login you created on the website.
 
STEP ONE: Have your student log into their Canvas account via Clever. In the student's account:
  1. Select account
  2. Select settings
  3. Scroll to the bottom and select "Pair with Observer"
  4. Write down this pairing code
THEN:
  1. Go to galt.instructure.com
  2. If you are asked to search for your school, enter Galt only
  3. Click on the "Click Here for An Account" under Parent of a Canvas User
  4. Enter your name, email address, create a password, and enter the pairing code from your student's account from Step One
  5. Remember your username and password for future use
